Microsoft Visio Plan 2 has a great feature, Slide Snippets, that can create a PowerPoint slide show directly from the Visio document. However, it still leaves some work to be done before the presentation is ... presentable!

The Export to PowerPoint in Visio Plan 2 feature does not copy any text from Visio, apart from the slide title.

SS Plus provides the ability to not only automatically create accompanying text for each slide, but also allows this text to include bold, italics and hyperlinks. In addition, a hyperlink can be added to the image.

SS Plus can also automatically apply PowerPoint SmartArt to the accompanying text block to make it far more presentable, and immediately ready for presentation.

In addition, SS Plus provides a dynamic menu of the Slide Snippets on each page, even without the Slide Snippets pane open, so the Visio user can navigate to each named area quickly and easily ... and, if LayerManager is installed too, it can switch the layers displayed too!
